Raiinmaker 2.0: Re-Envisioning The Creator Economy

As a producer and tech entrepreneur, my vision over the past 20 years has been to transform our culture by developing media and technology ventures that transform the status quo and empower creators of all sizes to be potent forces for change in the world.

We conceived of Raiinmaker in the midst of the shift from Web 2.0 to 3.0 as a blockchain-powered platform designed to facilitate the democratic distribution of social value fans create for brands, bringing more people into the rising tide of the decentralized finance revolution.

We’ve been watching the space for a long time and noticed that the next generation of social media influencers were passionate about creating trends around their favorite brands to drive action that makes a difference in the world. More than 50 million people worldwide consider themselves to be creators:

“… the market size has grown to well over $104 billion. Investors poured a record $1.3 billion into the space.” (Fast Company)

The app provides a fully scalable platform where creators can drive engagement and break through the noise over multiple social media networks including Twitter, TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. Each creator earns crypto and NFT rewards based on how often they post and the level of engagement they drive from the Raiinmaker network.

After the pioneering launch of blockchain media ventures around the film Atari (currently in pre-production with Leonardo DiCaprio’s company Appian Way), and the docuseries Open Source Money that aired on Discovery Science, Raiinmaker was developed over a few years and publicly launched with the charity initiative Global Field Day in July 2021. By the end of last year, the app topped 15,000 downloads.

Thanks to creators using Raiinmaker, Global Field Day had nearly 10 million media impressions and over $100,000 donated to charities such as World Youth Horizons, Global Entrepreneurship Network, Laudato Tree, Mental Health America, The Ertz Family Foundation, Mario Addison Community Partnership and The Sports Equality Foundation.

In 2022, we have a number of exciting plans in the works including the launch of the $Coiin token (Raiinmaker’s utility token) to public markets, and multiple partnerships and campaigns lined up with major players from the worlds of Sports, Entertainment, and Blockchain/Crypto.
